Damaan Islamic Insurance Company (Beema) was incorporated in September 2009 as a fully Sharia' compliant private Closed Qatari Shareholding Insurance Company. The founders of the company are:


Qatar Insurance Company = 25 %


Qatar Islamic Bank = 25 %


Masraf Al Rayan = 20 %


Barwa Real Estate Co. = 20 %


Q-Invest = 10 %


Authorized and paid up capital is QR 200 million.

The Company is licensed to transact all classes of insurance.
